There’s no better way to experience the magic of the Rocky Mountains than by hiking through them when the larches turn golden! For a few spectacular weeks in late September and early October, the alpine landscapes come alive with brilliant shades of gold, set against rugged peaks and turquoise lakes.

Our local guides know the best larch hikes in the Rockies and will choose a route that offers incredible scenery while helping you avoid the busiest trails. Never hiked before? Don’t worry—we’ll select a hike suited to your fitness level and experience. If you’re a seasoned hiker, we’ll find a more challenging route to get your heart pumping!

All of our guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid, so you can enjoy your adventure with confidence. Your experience includes door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, snacks, and plenty of time to take in the spectacular golden scenery.

What to wear and bring: Hiking boots or athletic footwear, thick socks, backpack, extra warm clothing, rain jacket (can be provided), large water bottle, toque and mitts (if windy), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

What we provide: Hiking poles, lunch (additional $25 per person), snacks.  All guides carry bear spray.

Half-Day Private Tours (less than 4 hours): $295.00 for 1 or 2 people

Each additional person is $115.00 (max group size of 5)

Full-Day Private Tours (4 to 8 hours): $475.00 for 1 or 2 people

Each additional person is $175.00 (max group size of 5)
